Fun fact, there's a miniature Statue of Liberty in the Plaza Barrancas park in Belgrano. This 3 meter tall Porteño liberty was unveiled on October 3, 1888 - that's actually 25 days before the New York statue. This statue was cast by Federic Bartholdi from the same mould as the replicas in Paris.

On the base you can read “Val d'Osne – 8 Rue Voltaire, Paris” and the year 1884 - the workshop where it was cast and the likely year of production.

Where exactly? In the park near the crossing of La Pampa and Arribeños streets.
