This Airbnb literally slipped through our fingers! We were SO set on booking this apartment for our stay in Hanoi, but just as we were ready to hit 'book,' it was already taken. Total disappointment!

However, we ended up visiting the café underneath the Airbnb, and as luck would have it, the owner Jesse was there waiting to greet new guests. We got to chat and even had the chance to see the apartment between guests. Honestly, it made me even more bummed that we missed out on staying there because it looked even more amazing in person.

The design is absolutely epic, and the bed looked so comfy. Plus, you access the apartment through an elevator that opens right into the living space — how cool is that? You need a key for the elevator to stop on that floor, which made it feel extra special. Maybe next time we'll get lucky!
