This is one of those spots you’ll probably see in every Hanoi guide, and ours is no exception! The Hanoi Opera House is an pretty impressive building right in the heart of the city. Built by the French between 1901 and 1911, it’s modeled after Paris's Palais Garnier, so you know it’s got that stunning Neoclassical vibe going on. The opera house has hosted everything from political gatherings to cultural performances, making it a big part of Hanoi’s history.
We didn’t get the chance to see a show, but we were lucky enough to sneak a peek inside, and it’s just as impressive as you’d imagine. Even if you only see it from the outside, it’s still a beautiful building worth checking out!
