We LOVE Madeira wine. In fact we think it's much better than port wine, but that's of course just our opinion. Going to Madeira you have to make a stop by Blandy's Wine Lodge for a tasting. It costs 11€ for a 45-minute tour which includes to tastings. Should you decide to buy a bottle of Madeira wine the 11€ will be deducted from the price. Buying an expensive bottle of Madeira wine from 1960, 70 or 80 will make for a wonderful souvenir you will treasure. You can of course get cheap, young Madeira wine, but it's worth paying up and bring home a bottle with 50 years on it's back.
