Every time we have a friend or family visiting Lisbon one of the first places we take them is to this viewpoint.

Not only is the whole square stunning with vibrant life and lots of street artists, but the view to the old part of Lisbon is simply incredible. Here you get an amazing idea of how the central part of Lisbon is laid out.

If you are visiting Lisbon during Christmas, you get to enjoy a lovely little Christmas market that we like to visit for the hot wine that we love to enjoy on a cold day.

We like to sit at the kiosk here and have a coffee or a glass of wine during the warm months just to enjoy the view and atmosphere.
