Sykamia is a large sandy beach in the far north and one of my favourites in the island. Despite its beauty (the waters are truly amazing), it’s not the most crowded beach in the island. The reasons for this are 1. The road to get there is a little tricky at some parts, but nothing too extreme. Mind the sharp turns in the end, and 2. Being in the north, this beach is often exposed to strong northern winds and this creates waves. But for a calm summer day, I totally recommend it!
