If you have children aged about 5-10 that need a little motivation to keep walking, you might try the Lieselotte theme trail. It has 13 fun activities along the way, including milking a cow (not a real one), playing an alphorn, a long jump, and other fun games.

Kids also get a card to punch at each station, helping them to discover a secret word. They can turn in the completed card and get a little prize.

The trail starts at the top of the Grindelwald-Männlichen gondola, where you’ll find a nice playground with a view and restaurants. We suggest doing the short Royal Walk up to a higher viewpoint before starting the trail.
