Kebabs are the most popular takeaway food in Switzerland, second to bratwurst. Many argue that mit&ohne kebab is the absolute best in Zurich (we agree!), with super fresh ingredients and the pita bread baked to order.

We typically get the classic beef/lamb mix, but they also have chicken and vegan options of lentil falafel and planted kebab. The homemade iced tea is a perfect way to wash it down.

There are often long lines outside the shop, but it moves fast and you won't regret it. The inside has some seating, but it's always full. You'll have to hover with purpose to snag a table.

If you take it to go, just walk one block to the Brubacherplatz that has tables, benches, and Gelateria di Berna for dessert.

Perfect for late night eats since they are open until 23:30, when most Zurich kitchens close at 22:00.
