This small alpine dairy hut at 1860m is a nice stop for refreshments along the Walenpfad trail.

The cafe has a small menu, basically hot and cold drinks, alp cheese and dried meat, and snacks.
Their hut has two rooms for overnight stays (4 bed and 6 bed). One room has linens, the other requires a sleeping bag liner. Fee includes breakfast. Dinner can be ordered from the menu. Book: unter@ifaengi.ch • +41 79 728 50 60
They also have a camping area for tents, which you can use for a small fee. They also rent camping supplies: tent, sleeping pad, sleeping bags, etc.
How to get there
If you are starting in Bannalp, you'll reach the hut in about one hour.
If you are starting in Engelberg Brunni, you will reach it in about 3 hours.
