Perhaps the most popular photo spot on the Lötschental panorama trail. If you do the full panorama trail starting at the Lauchernalp cable car, you'll reach this lake after about 2 hours.

For a shorter hike, you can park in Fafleralp and hike up to this lake, only 2.5 km and about 70 m of elevation gain. Then just walk back the way you came.

This lake can be quite busy, so difficult to not have other hikers in your photos. Perhaps go in the early morning.

There is a second hidden lake just past this first lake, popular for picnics.
