Kunsthaus Zurich is is one of the largest and oldest art museums in Switzerland, with a collection that spans from the Middle Ages to modern times. It has a surprisingly good collection for a relatively small European city and has excellent temporary exhibitions.

On Wednesdays, you can visit the permanent collection for free. So we always keep this in mind when organizing itineraries for our budget-conscious guests.

We suggest having a stylish coffee break at the art-deco Kunsthaus Bar in the new wing. Their Pain au Chocolate are delicious.
