This trail travels from the Mürren village to the Rotstöck mountain hut. It's relatively short, so a good choice for casual hikers and families that would like a mountain hut experience. You can just eat lunch there and keep hiking or stay overnight.

The trail is well built and easy to follow. It has a few sections with steep slopes to the side, so you need steady footing, sturdy hiking shoes and a head for heights.

If you want to hike back a different way, from the hut, follow signs to Gimmelwald, via the Sefinental river valley, about 2 hours.
