The Mürren Palace is considered the oldest "palace hotel" in Switzerland, established in 1874. In 2024, it was extensively renovated and expanded, to add modern comfort while retaining its grand charm.

They offer 49 rooms, suites, and apartments, many with balconies. The family suites sleep 4 with a double bed and sofa bed. The largest apartment has two bedrooms with double beds plus a living area with sofa bed.

Their restaurant is perhaps the best in Mürren, serving traditional flavors but more attractive and sophisticated than a typical mountain restaurant.

They have a spa & wellness center (hotel guests only), with a Finnish sauna, herb sauna, steam bath, relaxation room with a view, cold plunge pool. The hotel is also connected to the Mürren sports center, which has a pool and whirlpool, fitness center, and indoor/outdoor sports facilities.
