You reach Wengen via a cogwheel mountain train from Lauterbrunnen. This train journey is free with the Swiss Travel Pass.

The Wengen train station is in the center of the village, a short walk from many hotels and the Männlichen cable car.

Wengen has direct access to these mountain areas:

• Männlichen via cable car (travel time 6 mins, departs every 15 mins)

• Kleine Scheidegg via mountain train (travel time 22 mins, departs every 30 mins)

In all case, you first travel by mountain train to Lauterbrunnen (departs every 30 mins). Then continue by train, cable car, or bus to your destination.
