For a weekend in the Jungfrau Region, we stayed at S&P Mountain View Apartment in Wilderswil, a comfortable and convenient home base for a relaxing Swiss getaway.

We had the one bedroom apartment, with sofa beds in the main room for our teen boys, a good fit for our family of four. The host, Irma, was friendly and accommodating, helping us have a memorable stay.

The kitchen was well equipped and had the basics like sugar, salt, spices and oil, making it easy to cook for the family. It has stunning mountain views from the private balcony, where we usually ate our meals.

The apartment has free parking and also a short walk from the train station and grocery stores. We didn't need to use our car at all during our stay. One evening we simply walked to the nearby Luna Piccante and had a lovely meal with seasonal produce, definitely recommended. We also used the Interlaken guest card to travel for free into Interlaken (a very short train or bus ride), accessing even more restaurants and services.
