Bergrestaurant Blatten is a mountain restaurant on the alp just above Zermatt - see on map. It has a beautiful setting, in a cluster of traditional wooden chalets and huts in an alpine meadow and mountain views.

You can reach it by walking down from the Furi gondola station (about 20 min) or walking up from Zermatt (40 min from center of village).

The menu features traditional Swiss dishes like Rösti. cheese fondue, pasta, and steak. In summer, they use fresh herbs and other ingredients from their own garden.

It's a popular stop for hikers and mountain bikers, so it can be quite full at lunch and dinner. Best to make a reservation, especially on weekends, if you don't want to wait. They have a large terrace for up to 140 people and indoor seating.
