Hike
This trail wanders through the countryside near Zug, passing through farms and fields filled with dandelions. This trail also has lots of cherry trees, which blossom around the end of April.
Hike: Easy • 3.5 h • 11.6 k • 200m up, 500m down • trail map
Location: start in Unterägeri and end in Zug • by car, you can park in Zug and take a bus to the start of the trail
When to go: cherry blossoms best end of April, trail open through November
We did this trail in mid May, missing the peak bloom, but the weather was sunny and warm and plenty of other flowers along the way.
It's a long trail, but not difficult, with only one short uphill climb.
