Located in the center of the Zermatt village, Hotel Butterfly is a convenience and comfortable stay. The rooms have been renovated in 2024 with a modern alpine style. Our friends have stayed here on multiple occasions and warmly recommend it.

Location: The hotel is only a couple minutes from the Zermatt train station and main shopping street, where you'll find many restaurants and grocery stores.

It's also very close to the Gornergrat mountain train and Sunegga funicular, accessing many hiking and mountain biking trails.

Rooms: All rooms are doubles, some with a sofa bed to fit a third person. Some rooms have balconies with Matterhorn views, worth paying extra for that.

They also have apartments with a kitchenette, bridge, and small dining area.

Wellness: The hotel has a small wellness center with a Finnish sauna and steam bath (open all winter, upon request in summer).
