The Stoos Panorama trail is a an easy wander along the cliffs overlooking Lake Lucerne.

For non-hikers, children, and anyone short on time or energy, this walk is a great alternative to the more difficult (and somewhat dangerous) Stoos ridge trail.

How to get there

To reach this trail, you start by riding the Stoos funicular train. Then two chair lifts to the Fronalpstock viewpoint. The trail starts and ends here.

There is lots of metered parking next to the funicular station. By bus, get off at the Schwyz, Stoosbahn stop.

Tickets

For this trail, you'll need a "Peak Experience" ticket, which includes the funicular and chair lifts.

Discount with Swiss Travel Pass, Swiss Half Fare Card, and GA. Free with Lucerne Tell Pass.

The ticket is slightly cheaper if you buy it online, plus you can skip the line. Tickets do not sell out and you do not need a reservation.
