This gondola travels between Stöckalp (parking & bus) and the Melchsee Frutt mountain resort. It has individual gondola cars that run on a continuous cable.

How to get there

By car: Fruttstrasse 53, 6067 Stöckalp - Drive time from Lucerne 40 mins. Metered parking next to cable car.

By public transport: Stöckalp bus stop. Frrom Luzern, train to Sarnen, then bus. Travel time 1h06. Connections hourly.

You can purchase a return ticket just for this gondola. Or you can buy a "day ticket" which includes both cable cars in the area and the shuttle bus to the second lake. See current prices.

Children age 15 and under travel free with a parent.
