If you're looking for interesting artisan made gifts, the Heilger BimBam market should be your first stop. This market is inside a big heated hall near the Oerlikon train station, a good choice for cold rainy days.

Most of the stands selling food and drink products have samples to try. In 2023, we loved the spicy sauces from Chiliwerk, the organic mescal from Yaha-Yahui, the marinades from Secret Sauce, the Istrian olive oil from House of Olive, flavored moonshine from O'Donnell and so much more.

We found so many other handmade products we loved as well: earrings, hair ornaments, scarves, bags, ceramics, hats, etc. I wanted everything!!!

They have a bar with mulled wine and lots of options. I thought their Glühwein was one of the best in Zurich and nice and hot unlike at the Bellevue market this year. You leave a depot on the mug, so if you can keep it if you love it.Their prosecco pour was quite generous and reasonably priced for Zurich.

Outside the hall, they have a few food and drink stands, with warming fires near the seating.
