The Hotel Schweizerhof is a family owned hotel, started in 1896. They are a popular stop for hikers doing the long distance Via Alpina hiking trail.

For families, they have suites with a parent sleeping area and separate children's sleeping area with 2 bunk beds. They can also add an extra bed for a child.

It's conveniently located in the center of the Engelberg village, close to the train station. They offer free parking for their guests. With your guest card, the local bus is free, taking you quickly to the mountain railways for Titlis, Brunni and Fürenalp.

They have two restaurants including a cozy chalet-style "Fonduestübli." Guests have free access to their sauna and fitness room.
