The Bern Rathaus (City Hall) is the seat of the cantonal parliament and dates back to the early 15th century. Built in late Gothic style, it reflects Bern’s medieval political importance.

The building is still in official use and features a distinctive staircase façade and richly decorated chambers that can be seen on guided tours.

Located in the heart of the Old Town on Rathausgasse, it's a short walk from the Zytglogge. See on map.
