Val Roseg is peaceful alpine valley near St Moritz surrounded lush forests and towering peaks. In winter, you can travel down the valley in a horse-drawn sleigh (or carriage if there is not enough snow).

The ride takes you 6.7 km down the valley to Hotel Restaurant Roseg Gletscher, where you can have lunch. They are famous for their large dessert buffet and spectacular views. Definitely make a reservation and coordinate with your sleigh arrival times.

Most people do a round trip with the sleigh. But you can also walk through the valley, about 1h45 mins.

Omnibus

The easiest option is to ride the Horse-drawn Omnibus, which fits. In winter season, mid December to early April, the Omnibus runs 3 times in the afternoon. You must reserve a spot at least one day in advance, but better much earlier that that. You must pay for your tickets in cash, no cards accepted.

Dinner package

During winter 2024, the hotel offers a sleigh ride & 3-course dinner package for CHF 119/person. This is available every Saturday from 2 Dec 2024 to 29 March 2025. Departure at 19:00. Return transport is included.

From St Moritz, it's 10 mins by car or public transport. There is parking at the train station and another parking lot nearby - see on map.
