The longest rail-guided alpine coaster in Switzerland is the Pradaschier coaster in Churwalden, near Davos. It's over 3 km long reaching speeds up to 40 km/hr.

It's so fast and furious that I'm always terrified I'll fly off the track (though not possible as the sled is connected) and use the brakes more than I normally do.

They also have a long zip line here if you want double the excitement.

This is possible as a day trip from Zurich, but better if you are staying in Lenzerheide, Chur or Flims Laax.

Tickets

In 2024, it cost CHF 29.50 for the coaster + chair lift to reach the coaster. Discount for multi-pack, teen, children, and travel cards like STP and 1/2 Fare Card.

💡Tip: In 2025, they have a 2-for-1 coaster offer if you buy your ticket before 10:30 and use it before 11:00.
