The Allmendhubel "Flower Park" Playground is a fantastic spot for families to enjoy in the mountains near Lauterbrunnen. Your kids can have a blast on the playground's many attractions while you relax at the adjacent restaurant, enjoying breathtaking mountain views.

From swings and slides to climbing structures and sandboxes, there's something for every age and interest. Above the playground, there is small path around an alpine flower garden.

Tip: We usually start by hiking the Mürren Mountain View Trail, which ends at the playground. This is good motivation to keep the kids walking.

How to get there

From the Mürren village, you can ride the Allmendhubel-Bahn, a short funicular train, up the mountain. It drops you directly at the playground.

The funicular station is a 5 min walk from the Mürren cable car station. Just follow the signs. See location on Google Maps.

When to visit

The funicular is open for summer season from mid June to mid October, daily from 9:00 to 17:00. See current opening times.
