If you are doing the Rigi Lake View trail, we suggest this short deviation up to the Rigi Rotstock peak.

After passing the Staffel mountain train station, the main gravel path forks left, headed to "First." Instead, you can walk straight ahead, following the yellow sign to Rotstock, headed uphill on a dirt path. It's only about 10 mins to reach the peak.

There's a bench up there, a nice place for a little break.

Then walk down the meadow towards First, rejoining the gravel path in a few minutes.
