This playground is at the top of the Stoos Fronalpstock peak. It's right next to the chair lift, restaurant and cliff viewpoint, a great place for children to safely play while parents enjoy the view.

The playground has swings, slides, climbing obstacles and picnic tables. It's set back from the cliff edge and surrounded by a fence, so children can play safely. But still best to supervise smaller children.

How to get there

To reach the viewpoint, you'll start with the Stoos funicular - Grundstrasse 232, 6430 Schwyz.

By car, there is a parking garage and metered parking next to the funicular station. By bus, get off at the Schwyz, Stoosbahn stop.

Ride the funicular to the Stoos village. Then a short walk to the chair lift. Ride a series of two chairlifts to the Fronalpstock peak. The playground is directly across from where you exit the chair lift.
