Barchetta Bar & Lounge, located in the heart of Zurich's Old Town, has one of the nicest views along the Limmat river. Although we love their stylish interior, we always prefer to sit at the bar tables lined up along the river.

It's a nice place for a coffee/hot chocolate in the mornings, even on cold weather days, when they line the chairs with fluffy sheepskin and have cozy blankets to keep you warm. We also like meeting friends here after work for an afternoon apero before heading to dinner in the city.

It's part of the Hotel Storchen, which also has a rooftop bar with amazing views, but often hard to get a seat.
