At the Seealpsee lake, you can rent a small rowboat to do a short tour around the lake.

It’s very informal. Go to the Berggasthaus Forelle restaurant and tell them you want to rent the boat. No reservations, first come, first served.

You pay in cash - CHF 7 for 30 mins. They also rent life vests, ask for them. We were told we could only have the boat for 30 mins, so other people to have an opportunity to use the boat.

We didn’t have to sign anything, leave a deposit, or check in when we were done.

You can reach this lake by walking up from Wasserauen or hiking down from Ebenalp.
