This cable car brings you from the Engelberg valley up to the Fürenalp mountain at 1823m. At the top, you'll find a restaurant, playground and beautiful hiking trails.

How to get there

The Fürenalp cable car is located at the far end of the Engelberg valley. Wasserfallstrasse, 6390 Engelberg (46°48'06.6"N 8°26'57.8"E)

By car: There is metered parking next to the cable car.

By public transport: Take the train to Engelberg, then bus to Engelberg, Fürenalpbahn. The bus drops directly at the cable car station. From Lucerne, 1h travel time.

Tickets can only be purchased onsite, no advance booking.

Free with Lucerne Tell Pass • Small discount with Engelberg guest card.

No discount for Swiss Travel Pass, Swiss Half Fare Card, or GA.
