Harder Kulm is a mountain viewpoint above Interlaken at 1322m. To reach the top, you ride a funicular train from Interlaken, about a 10 mins ride.

At the top, there is a big panorama terrace overlooking Interlaken, Lake Brienz, Lake Thun, and many mountains.

There is a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, serving traditional Swiss food with stunning views. Just above the restaurant, there is a small playground and picnic area with a view.

How to get there

The funicular station is located across the river from the Interlaken Ost train station (see on map).

The funicular ticket is free with the  Jungfrau Travel Pass and Bernese Oberland Pass. Discount with Swiss Travel Pass, Swiss Half Fare Card, and Interlaken Guest Card.
