This short and easy panorama trail has spectacular mountain views without requiring much work. You start by riding a gondola, then two chair lifts to reach the Pizol mountain hut at 2200m.

The trail loops around a high mountain plateau, where you can admire the spectacular mountain peaks and special geological features of the UNESCO World Heritage Tectonic Arena Sardona.

The hike ends back at the hut, where you can enjoy traditional Swiss mountain food before riding the chair lift back down.

It's a wide dirt path, obstacle-free and possible with an all-terrain stroller. It only takes about an hour, with minimal elevation changes over the short distance. It's a good choice for inexperienced hikers that want a mountain trail experience.

Location: Pizol gondola in Wangs - Schiggstrasse 27, 7323 Vilters-Wangs. Bus stop: Wangs, Pizolbahn

For families

After the hike, you can ride down to the Gaffia station and rent mountain go carts ride down to the Furt station. At Furt, there is a big playground with a marble run, slides, swings, and water play.
