The "Frutt-Zug" shuttle travels between the Melchsee Frutt gondola station and Tannalp, where you'll find a mountain guesthouse and path around the second lake.

This shuttle makes this mountainous area more accessible for families with small children and those with limited mobility.

Timetable

It leaves hourly from the gondola station on the XX:00 and from Tannalp on the XX:30.

Stops

The train starts at the gondola station and makes several stops along the way before reaching Tannalp. See map of area with the stops.

If you are walking around the second lake Tannensee, ride the shuttle to the Fachshubel stop to start the walk. At the end of your walk, catch the shuttle at the Tannendamm stop.

Tickets

If you are riding the gondola, best to buy the "day ticket" which includes the gondola and the shuttle. Otherwise, you can buy single and return tickets just for the shuttle. See ticket prices.

Children age 15 and under and small dogs travel free.
