This big alpine playground is a dream for kids, with climbing structures, water play, slides, trampoline, swings, bouncy castles, and other amusements.

We usually start with some playtime here. Then ride the chairlift up to the barefoot "Tickle Path" and picnic area. Then hike the treasure hunt theme trail back down to the playground.

Then lots more time on the playground and perhaps summer toboggan. And, of course, ice cream at the restaurant to make for the perfect family day on the mountain.

How to get here

This playground is located on the Brunni mountain in Engelberg, about 45 mins from Lucerne.

The cable car is at Wydenstrasse 55, 6390 Engelberg.

Tickets

At the minimum, you'll need a round trip ticket on the cable car to reach the playground. If you plan to visit the Barefoot Tickle Path or treasure hunt trail, you may need a different ticket. Just ask at the ticket booth.

Tickets start around CHF 34/adult. Kids under 16 ride free with a parent.

Discounts: The mountain transport is free with the Lucerne Tell Pass and discounted with the Swiss Travel Pass and Swiss Half Fare Card.
