The Eisee is a small alpine lake just below the Brienzer Rothorn mountain peak. There is a mountain restaurant next to the lake and many nice places to picnic. The lake is popular for fishing - you must have a license.

How to get there

First ride the Brienz Rothornbahn mountain train or Sörenberg cable car to the Brienzer Rothorn viewpoint.

Then hike or ride a chairlift down to the lake. It's common for people to hike down and ride back up, but do whatever works for your group.
