The Weisshorn is the tallest mountain peak in Arosa, offering a spectacular 360° panorama.

From the Arosa village, a series of two cable cars takes you to the viewpoint. You can wander around the top, admiring views from all sides of the peak.

The restaurant at the top is a bit nicer than the typical Swiss mountain cafe, with all dishes freshly prepared and locally sourced ingredients. The indoor seating faces large windows so you can enjoy the view during the meal.

Location: Arosa Weisshorn cable car - next to Arosa train station
From Zurich, it's about 2h by car and 2h45 by train

Current conditions: opening timeswebcamsArosa weather

Open: Arosa Weisshorn is usually open for summer season from mid June through October, as well as November weekends if the weather is nice. See operating hours and current status.

If you love hiking, exciting mountain trails start here, following the ridge in either direction. For an easier day with kids, you can ride down to the middle station and hike down to the Squirrel trail. See Arosa trail network.
