Gelateria Bongusto is run by a Swiss couple from St Gallen, making homemade gelato from Swiss milk and other local ingredients for over 40 years.

In summer, they share space with a cafe in the Niederdorf, where you can get their yummy gelato and homemade cookies. We particularly like their multi-colored chocolate dipped cones. Not a million flavors, but delicious ones like salted caramel and passion fruit.

They sometimes have a gelato truck on the Polyterrasse (big terrace above the old town overlooking Zurich).
