This train station is located in the center of the Wilderswil village along the main road. See on map.

From the Wilderswil train station, you can board regular trains headed to either Interlaken Ost or Lauterbrunnen/Grindelwald. These trains depart every 30 mins. Check schedule on SBB.ch.

To Interlaken: Travel time 5 mins.

To Grindelwald: Travel time 30 mins. Make sure to board the back half of the train labeled Grindelwald.

To Lauterbrunnen: Travel time 16 mins. Make sure to board the front half of the train labeled Lauterbrunnen.

These trains are free with Swiss Travel Pass, Berner Oberland Pass, Jungfrau Travel Pass, Saver Day Pass and GA.

You can buy individual tickets on the SBB Mobile app or ticket machines and ticket office at the train station.

Mountain Train to Schynige Platte

At the Wilderswil station, you can also catch the cogwheel mountain train headed to the Schynige Platte viewpoint. This train departs about every 40 mins. Learn more.
