While hiking the Brienzer Rothorn ridge trail, you can optionally hike up to the Höch Gumme peak (2204m) for even more spectacular views. To get there, fork left at the trail sign shown here, pointing to Hoch Gümme.

After the peak, continue hiking along the ridge. After a few minutes, you can fork right to visit the Schönbüel hut on your way down.

Or continue straight to hike more of the ridge before hiking down to the Turren cable car.
