Maroon lake is one of the most iconic photo spots in Colorado. You need a reservation if you want to drive there and best to book early.

This spot is best for sunrise. Please respect the ropes around the lake. The photos that you see where there is a full reflection are taken in the summer when the water levels are higher. If you walk the Scenic Loop, there are different spots where you can find the reflection in the still water.
