The Malcolm Hotel is a luxury hotel in the heart of Spring Creek, a desirable neighborhood just steps away from downtown Canmore. It is one of the newest hotels in Canmore, and it's sure to make for a great family holiday. Its location is convenient for Canmore's restaurants, bars, and shops, but still situated far enough away from downtown where you won't here much noise in the summer.

It also sits conveniently across from the Policeman's Boardwalk, one of the best walks in Canmore. The hotel's highlight lies in the rooftop decks, which are a great place to take in the views from the hot tubs, heated pool, or resort restaurant. The pool is certainly loved by visitors, and we loved relaxing in the hot tub at the end of our days.

Just like the rooftop deck, rooms offer great views of the mountains and have luxurious finishes. Expect modern TVs, free Wi-Fi, mini-fridges, coffeemakers, and rainfall showers in each room. Most important, at least to us when traveling, are the super comfortable beds and linens. Facilities at the hotel also include a fitness center, restaurants, concierge service, and free parking.

While the Malcolm Hotel may be one of our favorite hotels in Canmore, it may not suit all families. As it's a luxury hotel and the nicest in Canmore, it is the most expensive. It's also worth noting that this is a hotel, which means families can not enjoy self-catering. All this being said, Malcolm provides community support, which sits well with locals.
