Pyramid Lake sits at the base of the distinctively shaped Pyramid Mountain, just a short drive from the Jasper townsite. This family-friendly destination offers something for everyone: gentle shoreline trails, a charming island connected by a wooden footbridge, and opportunities for canoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding. You can rent canoes and even paddleboats from the docks along the shore.

In winter, it transforms into a playground for ice skating and cross-country skiing. The lake is magical at sunrise and sunset when Pyramid Mountain is painted in alpenglow. The best time to visit is year-round, with each season offering its unique charm—summer for water activities, fall for vibrant foliage, winter for snow sports, and spring for wildlife viewing and fewer crowds.
