Bow Lake is one of the many lakes that line the Icefields Parkway and is a popular stop for visitors to Banff. It's no secret that the Canadian Rockies have plenty of spectacular vistas and lakes, and Bow Lake is the Crème de la crème.

Bow Lake is one of our top recommendations for a stop to stretch your legs while driving the Icefields Parkway. A short walk along the lakeshore trail is a nice family-friendly hike, or you can enjoy a longer hike around Bow Lake to Bow Glacier Lake or further for a more complete day.
Whatever you decide to do, make sure you don't miss this iconic lake on your trip to the Rockies.
