The Church of the Holy Spirit in Črnomelj is one of the most beautiful churches we saw in all of Slovenia. Set in the old town, the church was fully restored in 2007 and sits on the site of an ancient religious structure along the Panoramic Road. A stop here fits perfectly into a day of exploring this scenic, less-traveled part of Slovenia.

If you stop at the tourist farm just before the Church, you can get an incredible view of the Church with the mountains as a backdrop.
