Vintgar Gorge, also known as Bled Gorge, is a stunning canyon carved by the Radovna River in Slovenia's Triglav National Park. It's famous for its clear turquoise water and wooden boardwalks that take you right over the rushing river. It’s one of the most popular places to visit near Lake Bled, and because it gets busy, you need to buy tickets ahead of time. Also note that parking isn’t at the trailhead—you’ll park in a designated lot and take a shuttle bus over. To avoid crowds, try visiting for the first time slot in the morning or later in the day. At the end of the walk, you can choose between two return trails: one follows the river for a relaxed stroll, and the other climbs up for panoramic views. We took the panoramic route and loved it!
