The Vršič Pass in Slovenia is a must-visit on any road trip through the country, offering a thrilling drive with 50 hairpin turns and stunning alpine views. Built by Russian prisoners of war in 1915/16, the pass reaches 1611 meters above sea level and provides access to the beautiful Soca Valley. Visitors can also enjoy hikes to viewpoints like Slemenova Spica and explore attractions like Lake Jasna along the way. Just be prepared for some tight curves and breathtaking scenery!
