After your sunrise at the lighthouse, head to Fjadragljufur Canyon for a light morning hike. The canyon is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes away.

Fjaðrárgljúfur Viewpoint is a stunning spot in Iceland that offers breathtaking views of the Fjaðrárgljúfur Canyon. Nestled in a dramatic landscape, this viewpoint allows visitors to take in the canyon's unique formations and lush greenery.

NOTE: this hike is located down an F ROAD! You need a particular vehicle to access this area that is cleared to go down F roads since it is a dirt road/off road area. Make sure to check with your rental booking to see if your van or car can legally use them.

We recommend visiting early for sunrise, or later for sunset to experience the most beautiful view. You cannot walk on the edges of the canyon because of the moss, please respect that.

At the end of the canyon you'll find a beautiful waterfall. You can also fly your drone here. If you do have one, please be respectful of other visitors.
