Wake up early to explore Godafoss for sunrise. It’s about a 1 hour 10 minute drive from Grimsstadir campground or 2 hours 10 minutes from the Arctic Henge.

Goðafoss Waterfall, located in northern Iceland, is one of the country's most stunning natural wonders. Known as the "Waterfall of the Gods," it boasts a dramatic crescent shape and cascades down about 12 meters into a beautiful turquoise river. It's not insanely tall, but it's wide and is worth the stop. There are two different viewpoints. There's a parking lot to the right and a parking lot to the left. We recommend checking out the viewpoint on the right for a more grand view. If you park on the left, you can walk down to the waterfall.
