The Museo de Agua Blanca, located just outside of Puerto Lopez in the Machalilla National Park, is a great place to explore the archaeological remains of six ancient cultures. On display in the museum are a number of artifacts, including obsidian arrowheads, stone-carved seats, and figurines shaped like monkeys, birds, and pigs. Visitors can then take a short walk from the museum to the archaeological dig and marvel at over 600 structures left by the Manteño culture.
